Recommendations

Here you can read recommendations from people who live in Greenland or who have experienced Greenland during a period in their lives. It can be generally for the entire Greenland or locations. John Espersen: Qasigiannguit and Ilulissat has an incredibly beautiful scenery. especially Isfjorden which is 45 miles long and seven miles wide, is filled with giant icebergs. The ice can be experienced in countless ways, for example. walking through Sermermiutdalen, as is also the Disko Bay and the high heavens. Walking along the northern hemisphere's most isproducerende glacier, long white nights, huge icebergs, barking dogs, experiences in some of Greenland's most beautiful natural and insight into the Greenland bygdeliv. Whale Watching at Disko Bay and visit the bird colony "Green Ejland". There is also a place near Qasigiannguit / Christinashåb where you can find one million years old garnet stone, which dates from the bedrock. Disko Bay and Green Ejland is a unique place ...: 0)

Niels Olsen Fly: Nuuk: When sailing from Nuuk, you meet only exciting high mountains, after when sailing farther to get into the deep valleys are almost infinite and beautiful, like the mountains and the deep blue sea which goes with it. Well actually quite indescribably beautiful in many places there!

Ella Rasmussen: :-)... The beautiful landscape - the water, with beautiful icebergs and calm waters. It is a sight for the gods. The clean (a little more fresh) air, especially nature - rocks, where you can grab a stroll along or up / henad....du provides definitely for yourself which direction you want to go on tour.
:-).... Beautiful, affectionate, open, friendly people who like to listen if you want to tell something.
It's great.

John Espersen: My first visit to Greenland in July 1979, rightly said in Qasigiannguit / Christianshåb I have seen many nature films about Greenland, I have a great fondness for Greenland, I was måløs of the fantastic, beautiful nature there is, the prospect is beyond Fjord remarks, the quiet water, iceberg and Isfjorden at Jakobshavn and into Laskebugten located north of Christianshåb and the river goes to the huge lakes that extends just as far as eyes can see .... And then Greenlanders some incredibly nice people and their culture in itself .. Greenland should not be seen .. It is ... EXPERIENCE .... A deity anywhere on Earth ..:-) ♥ ♥

Helene Kristensen: I have lived in Julianehåb in 10 years, because 26 years ago and have never been up there since ... unfortunately. But still I have this need for seasonal shifts. The often harsh but beautiful winter when everything is dressed in white. We children were playing in the snow, ran on "kurebrædter", plastic bags ... you remember being picked up by my dad at school because of a storm that was coming. In summer, where they adorned the beautiful fjord and icebergs, we ran up the mountain and ate blue and sortebær. Remember my first horror film (The Mask night) at the cinema in the village hall which was also used to dansemik weekends. I have many wonderful memories from my childhood in Julianehåb ....

Minik Johansen Olsen: Qaqortoq: Qaqortoq is the sweetest and most fun place where I can swim in the big lake for free. And the mountains around Qaqortoq, Qaqortoq it looks like that is well protected

Otto Motzfeldt: Qaqortoq: I had the pleasure to visit my hometown for 2 weeks in June '09. A beautiful and lovely city where you are immediately out in nature when you step out the door. A city filled with art all over town. The view over the fjord or the Great Sea is fantastic, you can take up the Princess and take beautiful pictures of the city. Have been out sailing in the bay ... everything is beautiful. Sit here and is still flabbergasted over the amazing journey it has been, over the magnificent scenery, the fantastic city, but it is the many wonderful people whom I met on my trip, which has impressed me the most ... thanks to all of you, I have enriched my life forever!
